Tara S. Wood: Interview with Natasha Slight and Review of Guardians of the Grimoire

On October 16, 2012 Tara Stogner Wood has invited me over to the TARASPHERE (I always use a superhero's voice in my head when I see that name LOL). She has put me through the meat grinder that is her interview and I am happy to say I have come through with only a few bruises. Juuuust kidding. Tara knows how much I love to kid around, she could see it in the answers she twisted out of me (again kidding), which brings me to my point.

If you're interested to know a little more about the crazy/joker/writer/passionate person that I am (notice how I put crazy first?), I invite you to come and join me on Tara's site. You see the pub above? We'll be sitting at a small table in a dark corner, waaaaayy at the back, ready to have some fun! (Sorry, Tara, no Starbucks around.) So grab a pint of beer or a glass of wine (or a cup of coffee if you're in the mood to get noticed in a queer way. Coffee in a pub?) or whatever else catches your fancy and come join us! There's plenty of room for everyone.

Don't miss out on Tara's review!

Not only am I being interviewed, but Guardians of the Grimoire has been put under Tara's microscope for a review. What does she think of the book? Actually, I can't answer that one since I don't know myself. What does she think of the crazy author who wrote the story? Well, I'd rather not answer this one.

Seeing as I've got your attention for a moment, you see this picture on the right? That's the paperback version of my book. Now, scroll up the page and look at the other image there is of the book. That's the Kindle version. Notice the difference in colors? Here's a tip for authors thinking of printing via Createspace. Make sure the cover image you upload is lighter than what you want. Createspace has a tendency to print much, much darker than you would anticipate, so save yourselves a couple of proofs and lighten the image. If you're working with a cover artist let them know about this.

I hope this tip saves you a few headaches. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. If you leave a comment you have my most humble and sincere thanks.

Until the 'morrow my friends......

P.S.: The pub pictured above is located in Aachen, Germany. I used to walk by it every day. :)
